Mrs. Reilly currently enjoys teaching 3rd/4th grade to a diverse group of students. In the past she has taught 1rst, 3rd, and 5th grdes. In 4th grade we place a large empahsis on "the basics". This incoudes math facts (especially, but not limited to multiplication). We have math facts competitions called "Rainbow Math" that are a lot of fun and really effective. In language Arts we focus on writing and reading. In 4th grade we do a project on the California Missions that supports the language arts standards. I also incorporate science, art and poetry into the year. The students love doing "SPARK" PE, 100 minutes each week. |
