Welcome to Room 14!

Teacher: Barbara Luken

Barbara has been teaching for 23 years and has been at La Honda for 14 years.

Students working hard towards:

  • becoming "fluent" readers & top notch spellers.
  • learning to write a strong 5 paragraph narrative/description
  • memorizing multiplication tables 1-12!

All students must:

  • read daily at home for 25 minutes
  • turn in homework each morning
  • READING RECORDS due each Friday.

  • Lake Cachuma
  • Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History
  • Arroyo Hondo Preserve
  • City of Lompoc Tour/Spanne House/Mural Walk
