With the invitation to "Explore your Library", Mrs. Johnson had the library decorated like a jungle. Cupcakes were awarded to the classes that earned the most leaves on their vine for being quiet and neat and to those that had the fewest overdue books.

In January, La Honda had its first RIF (Reading Is FUNdamental) book giveaway of 2005. Two more are scheduled; one in March and one in April. Watch this spot for dates and details.
