The La Honda staff sends a special welcome to all parents and students. We have prepared this website to assist you in answering your questions about La Honda, the Lompoc Unified School District and what we can offer your child.
We are very proud of our students, staff and our programs. We believe that quality education can be achieved through high expectations of student performance and behavior. Strong family, school and community partnerships are also an important part of a successful school experience. Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff is commited to providing the best education possible for the students of La Honda School.
We strive to do everything we possibly can to assist each child in developing to his/her fullest potential. We place a strong emphasis on developing skills in such basic subjects as reading, written and oral language, and mathematics. Children are provided with rich, creative experiences in the fine arts. We prepare students to think and understand information basic to science, social studies, geography, history and current events.
While our emphasis is on an academic program of excellence, we also enrich our students through many extra school-wide activities.
